Job summary

SimonMed Imaging is seeking an Ultrasound Technologist to perform obstetric, gynecologic, abdominal, retroperitoneal, and vascular ultrasound exams, working alongside board-certified radiologists to ensure high-quality patient care.

The role requires ARDMS registration and CPR certification, with knowledge of abdomen, small parts, breast and OB/GYN imaging, plus vascular studies. On-site position in Surprise, AZ with comprehensive benefits.

Qualifications

• Must be ARDMS registered and CPR certified.
• Knowledge in Abdomen, Small parts, Breast and OB (1st, 2nd, 3rd trimester)/GYN, and Vascular imaging.

Responsibilities

• Schedules tests, records results, and maintains logs.
• Performs obstetric/gynecologic scans, ultrasound techniques and examinations (abdominal, retroperitoneal, vascular).
• Calibrates and maintains equipment and orders supplies as needed.
• Work under general supervision with a degree of creativity and latitude.

Essential Functions

• Demonstrates competency in the performance of job-related skills appropriate to his/her customer populations and departmental services
• Schedules and coordinates tests, records test results, and prepares and maintains operational logs
• Performs obstetric and gynecological scans, ultrasound techniques and examinations, abdominal scans, retroperitoneal scans, and radiation therapy localization
• Calibrates and maintains equipment and orders supplies when needed
• Familiar with standard concepts, practices and procedures. Relies on limited experience and judgment to plan and accomplish goals
• Works under general supervision
• A certain degree of creativity and latitude is required

Minimum Qualifications

• Successful completion of an approved program in Ultrasound Technology or licensed RT(R) who has received on the job training andmust be ARDMS registered.
• Knowledge in Abdomen, Small parts, Breast and OB (1st, 2nd, 3rdtrimester)/GYN, and Vascular imaging.
• A valid ‘Hands-On’ CPR certification.

Physical Demands

• This position may require duties including lifting and carrying up to 40 pounds, sitting for prolonged periods of time, with frequent standing and walking.
