Job summary

SimonMed Imaging is hiring ultrasound technologists to perform obstetric, gynecologic, abdominal and vascular imaging with ARDMS credentials. The role requires proper certification, CPR, and the ability to handle physical tasks while following standard procedures.

You will schedule tests, record results, and maintain logs, while ensuring patient comfort and safety in a fast-paced outpatient setting. Growth opportunities are available and benefits are offered.

Qualifications

• Completion of an approved Ultrasound Technology program.
• ARDMS registration or eligibility is required.
• CPR certification is required.
• Ability to lift up to 40 pounds and stand for long periods.

Responsibilities

• Performs obstetric and gynecological scans, ultrasound techniques and examinations.
• Performs abdominal, retroperitoneal, and vascular imaging.
• Calibrates and maintains ultrasound equipment and orders supplies as needed.
• Schedules and coordinates tests, records test results, and maintains operation logs.
• Works under general supervision and may have some creativity and latitude in duties.

• Demonstrates competency in the performance of job-related skills appropriate to his/her customer populations and departmental services
• Schedules and coordinates tests, records test results, and prepares and maintains operational logs
• Performs obstetric and gynecological scans, ultrasound techniques and examinations, abdominal scans, retroperitoneal scans, and radiation therapy localization
• Calibrates and maintains equipment and orders supplies when needed
• Familiar with standard concepts, practices and procedures. Relies on limited experience and judgment to plan and accomplish goals
• Works under general supervision
• A certain degree of creativity and latitude is required

• Successful completion of an approved program in Ultrasound Technology or licensed RT(R) who has received on the job training andmust be ARDMS registered.
• Knowledge in Abdomen, Small parts, Breast and OB (1st, 2nd, 3rdtrimester)/GYN, and Vascular imaging.
• A valid ‘Hands-On’ CPR certification.
• This position may require duties including lifting and carrying up to 40 pounds, sitting for prolonged periods of time, with frequent standing and walking.
