Job summary

You will maintain equipment, adhere to safety protocols, and collaborate with radiologists to ensure accuracy and patient safety. Candidates must be a Registered Diagnostic Medical Sonographer in at least one area, hold RDMS, and have CPR/BLS certification.

Qualifications

• Must be a Registered Diagnostic Medical Sonographer in at least one area.
• RDMS certification or equivalent credential.
• Basic Life Support - CPR required.

Responsibilities

• Perform diagnostic ultrasound examinations on diverse patient populations using advanced equipment.
• Prepare patients, acquire and process images, and document preliminary findings.
• Maintain equipment and adhere to safety protocols; collaborate with radiologists.
• Demonstrate patient-centered communication and age-appropriate care.
• Transport and assist patients as needed, ensuring safety and comfort.
• Explain procedures and follow up on reasonable patient requests.
