Job summary

Qualifications
- Student in an accredited Ultrasound program or 1 year clinical experience as a technologist, upon hire.
- Registered Diagnostic Medical Sonographer or equivalent upon hire.
- CPR and BLS certification within 90 days of hire.
Responsibilities
- Operate ultrasound equipment and record diagnostic images for abdomen, OB/Gyn, and other areas.
- Explain procedures to patients and ensure comfort and safety during exams.
- Review and select images for radiologist review and dictation.
- Perform quality control tasks and maintain equipment and room cleanliness.
- Assist radiologists as needed and keep proper documentation and supplies available.
- Participate in case discussions with radiologists and contribute to accurate preliminary findings.
