Salary Range: $42.81–$54.26 per hour
To provide care, preparation and positioning of patients to obtain high quality diagnostic images utilizing Ultrasound.
• Degree or certificate in Diagnostic Ultrasound from a certified Ultrasound Program required.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) required within 90 days.
• Registered Diagnostic Medical Sonographer (RDMS) within 3 years required.
• Must become credentialed as RDMS within 3 years of hire/transfer and sit for first exam within 18 months of hire/transfer and successfully pass within 3 years of hire/transfer.
• Certification must be current and maintained for employees hired/transferred effective 10/30/01.
• Registered Diagnostic Medical Sonographer (RDMS) upon hire preferred.
• Certification in nuchal translucency from the Fetal Medicine Foundation required within 18 months of hire or transfer and maintain thereafter.
• American Registry for Diagnostic Medical Sonography (ARDMS) certification specifically for OB/GYN required within 18 months of hire or transfer and maintained thereafter.
• 5 years of experience in Obstetrics Ultrasound preferred.
• 2 years of experience in a clinical setting, vascular experience in upper and lower extremities preferred.
• 1 year of Ultrasonography Technology or clinical rotation in hospital setting preferred.
