Job summary

Soliant in Boston is seeking an Ultrasound Technologist for a full-time contract position. You will perform diagnostic ultrasound procedures, ensure patient comfort, and follow department protocols to support accurate diagnoses.

A current DMS certification (ARDMS or equivalent) with at least 1 year of clinical imaging experience is required. You’ll work with advanced ultrasound equipment and collaborate with radiologists to optimize imaging quality and patient care.

Qualifications

• Current Diagnostic Medical Sonographer certification (ARDMS or equivalent).
• Minimum of 1 year of clinical imaging/sonography experience.
• Proficient with modern ultrasound equipment and software.
• Strong interpersonal communication skills with patients and staff.

Responsibilities

• Perform routine and complex ultrasound procedures while ensuring patient comfort and safety.
• Accurately capture high-quality diagnostic images per physicians’ orders and protocols.
• Review images for technical quality and collaborate with radiologists for optimal outcomes.
• Maintain detailed patient records and report findings as required.
• Provide clear, compassionate communication to educate and support patients.
• Ensure proper cleaning, maintenance, and operation of ultrasound machines and spaces.

• Minimum of one year of experience in a clinical imaging/sonography setting
