Corewell Health seeks a part-time ultrasound technologist for its Ludington site to perform basic diagnostic ultrasounds, document findings, and support physicians during invasive procedures. The role emphasizes patient care and recognition of clinical conditions relevant to the procedure.

Qualified candidates will hold an associate degree or equivalent, have 2 years of ultrasound experience, and possess ARRT/ARDMS certifications with BLS within 90 days of hire.

Qualifications

• Associate's degree or equivalent experience in related field.
• 2 years of relevant ultrasound experience required.
• ARRT Sonographer (S) certification required upon hire or equivalent.
• ARDMS Abdomen (AB) certification required upon hire or equivalent.
• ARDMS Ob/Gyn (OB) certification required upon hire or equivalent.
• ARDMS Vascular (VT) certification required upon hire or equivalent.
• AHA or ARC BLS within 90 days of hire.

About Outpatient Clinics

Scope of work

Performs basic diagnostic ultrasound examinations as prescribed by the physician and documents findings. Assists physicians with invasive procedures as needed. Provides appropriate patient care and recognizes patient conditions essential for successful completion of the procedure.

Qualifications

• Required Associate's Degree or equivalent experience in related field


• 2 years of relevant experience in ultrasound Required


• CRT-Sonographer (S) - ARRT American Registry of Radiologic Technologist Upon Hire required Or


• CRT-Abdomen (AB) - ARDMS American Registry for Diagnostic Medical Sonography Excluding Vascular Sites Upon Hire required And


• CRT-Ob/Gyn (OB) - ARDMS American Registry for Diagnostic Medical Sonography Excluding Vascular Sites Upon Hire required


• CRT-Vascular Technologist (VT) - ARDMS American Registry for Diagnostic Medical Sonography Vascular Sites Upon Hire required Or


• AHA or ARC Basic Life Support (BLS) within 90 days of hire
