Soliant Health is seeking an Ultrasound Tech/Sonographer for a contract assignment in Louisiana, specializing in General Ultrasound Imaging. You will collaborate with radiologists and clinical staff to perform essential imaging procedures and support accurate patient diagnosis.

The role requires ARDMS certification, proven general ultrasound experience, strong technique knowledge, BLS, and excellent patient communication.

Qualifications

• Certification in Diagnostic Medical Sonography (ARDMS or equivalent) is required.
• Proven general ultrasound imaging experience.
• Strong knowledge of sonographic techniques and ultrasound equipment operation.
• Ability to evaluate image quality.
• Current BLS certification.
• Excellent patient communication and interpersonal skills.
• Familiarity with EHR systems.

Responsibilities

• Perform high-quality general ultrasound procedures as ordered by physicians.
• Prepare and position patients for imaging, ensuring comfort and safety.
• Document procedures and maintain patient records in compliance with privacy regulations.
• Collaborate closely with radiologists and clinical staff, communicating findings as needed.
• Maintain ultrasound equipment, performing routine checks and reporting malfunctions promptly.
• Educate patients on exam procedures and address questions or concerns.

Key Qualifications:

• Certification in Diagnostic Medical Sonography (ARDMS or equivalent)

$1,936 - $2,048/WeekEstimated weekly earnings represent hourly wages, based on 40 hours per week, and expense reimbursement for eligible candidates. The actual amount may vary based on hours worked, eligibility for reimbursements, and seasonal adjustments.
