Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Must be qualified to operate a forklift.
• CDL license preferred.
• Ability to read, comprehend and follow safety manuals, SOPs and production reports.
• Basic math including multiplication, addition and percentages.

Responsibilities

• Inspects mill area for unsafe conditions each shift.
• Operates mill in a safe and efficient manner.
• Performs preventative maintenance and locks out equipment per LOTOTO.
• Produces and loads materials from work orders under guidance.
• Obtains samples at defined intervals for testing.
• Adjusts operational parameters to keep product within specs.
• Inspects trucks and rail cars prior to loading; may reject non-compliant units.
• Prepares daily operation reports.
• May direct other personnel in packaging and coordinate with coordinators.
• Complies with ISO 9001 and FSMA guidelines.
