Job summary

Rapport International in the United States (Nebraska) seeks qualified interpreters for in-person work in the Omaha area. We welcome bilingual candidates ready to help non-English speakers in their community and enjoy flexible hours.

Ukrainian interpreters are especially sought as we serve local Nebraska clients. Please note this is an independent contractor position with flexible hours and no guaranteed schedule.

Qualifications

• Fully bilingual across English and other languages.
• Excellent communication and listening skills.
• Familiarity with medical terminology.
• Must maintain strict confidentiality and HIPAA compliance.
• In-person interpretation only; transportation to attend local appointments required.
• Technical skills to learn/use the online portal; printing/uploading vouchers.
• Must have access to a printer.
• Interpreting experience and/or certification preferred.
• Background checks and drug screening required.
• Schedule is PRN, part-time or less depending on languages spoken; availability M-F 7AM–5PM typical.
