Job summary

Language Services Associates seeks Italian interpreters for on-site assignments in the Monmouth, NJ area. As an independent contractor, you will facilitate language communication for LEP communities across a variety of settings, upholding high standards of accuracy and confidentiality.

Qualified candidates are fluent in English and Italian, with 1+ year of interpreting experience preferred. Industry certifications (CMI, CCHI) are a plus, and reliable transportation is required.

Qualifications

• Full fluency in English and Italian.
• 1+ year of professional interpreting experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide superior customer service
• Adhere to Code of Professional Conduct, including maintaining strict standards of confidentiality
• Adhere to all policies and procedures, including professional interpretation protocols and industry specific best practices
• Adhere to clearance requirements as requested by clients
• Report on site to any accepted assignments in a timely manner
• Access to personal or public transport
