Job summary

rapportintl is seeking qualified in-person interpreters for Lincoln, Nebraska. We are a busy interpreting service provider onboarding bilingual professionals to provide in-person interpretation for local clients. This independent contractor role offers flexible hours and PRN scheduling.

Ukrainian interpreters are in immediate need. You must have transportation to attend appointments locally, HIPAA confidentiality, and access to a printer to print vouchers.

Qualifications

• Must be fully bilingual and able to communicate clearly with clients.
• Excellent listening and communication skills.
• Familiarity with medical terminology is preferred.
• High standard of confidentiality and HIPAA compliance.

Responsibilities

• Provide in-person interpretation for local Nebraska clients.

As a busy interpreting service provider, we are seeking to onboard hard-working, fully-bilingual foreign language interpreters to provide in-person interpretation for our local Nebraska clients. We have an immediate need for Ukrainian interpreters in the Lincoln area.

Requirements:

• Fully bilingual
• Excellent communication and listening skills
• Familiarity with medical terminology
• Ability to maintain strict confidentiality/ HIPAA compliance
• We are looking for IN PERSON interpreters only, you must have transportation to attend appointments locally
• Technical skills for learning/using online portal (printing and uploading vouchers required)
• Must have access to a printer
• Interpreting experience and/or certification preferred
• Background checks and drug screens required
• Schedule is PRN (as needed), part time (or less depending on languages spoken) and is flexible based on interpreter's availability and preferences. However, applicants must have some availability M-F 7AM-5PM as this is when services are typically needed.

Please note, this is an independent contractor position with flexible hours. Hours are not guaranteed and are based on availability, languages spoken and client needs.
