The Applications Analyst III supervises and provides technical guidance to the staff in the development of specifications for new or revised systems.

The Applications Analyst III supervises and provides technical guidance to the staff in the development of specifications for new or revised systems.

This position is responsible for troubleshooting and supporting user inquiries into the UKG Pro WFM time and attendance system, as well as carrying out training for the users, both on a periodic and ad hoc basis.

Responsibilities

  • Has full technical knowledge of applications analysis and has supervisory duties of instructing, assigning, directing and checking the work of the other Applications Analysts.
  • Assists in planning, organizing and controlling the activities of the section.
  • May work with client management to identify and specify the complex business requirements and processes, and in the application design, testing and implementation process (e.g., diverse development platforms, software, hardware, technologies and tools, etc.).
  • Coordinates the activities of the section with other IT sections (e.g., database, telecommunications, operations, technical support, etc.).
  • Acts as expert technical resource to development staff in all phases of the development and implementation process.
  • Assists in all levels of supervision and may perform management function in the absence of the Manager.
  • May act as a project leader.
  • Carry out troubleshooting and training the timekeeping and scheduling modules for the users
  • Keep the service now ticket count less than double digits and provide solutions to the team to achieve it.
  • Performs related duties as assigned or requested.

Qualifications

Education Requirements

  • Bachelor degree in Computer Science or a related discipline or an equivalent combination of education and work experience. Advanced degree preferred.

Experience Requirements

  • Five years of solid, diverse work experience in IT
  • 5+ years of experience with UKG
  • 3+ years Pro WFM
  • 3+ years of experience in training and interacting with users

Compensation

The Mount Sinai Health System (MSHS) provides salary ranges that comply with the New York City Law on Salary Transparency in Job Advertisements. The salary range for the role is $99200 - $148800 Annually. Actual salaries depend on a variety of factors, including experience, education, and operational need. The salary range or contractual rate listed does not include bonuses/incentive, differential pay or other forms of compensation or benefits.
