Job summary

Interactive Brokers seeks a UI/UX Design Intern for a 9-week onsite program in Greenwich, CT. You will join the design team to shape intuitive digital trading experiences across mobile, desktop, and web apps.

You will conduct user research, craft wireframes and high‑fidelity mockups, and collaborate with engineers and stakeholders to implement feedback, delivering a best‑in‑class user experience.

Qualifications

• As a UI/UX Design Intern you are currently pursuing a BS, MS, or Ph.D. in Computer Science or a related field.
• Minimum GPA of 3.5 is required and expected graduation should occur between Dec 2027 and May 2027.
• Proficiency in Figma and Adobe Creative Suite and a strong understanding of visual design principles are essential.

Responsibilities

UI/UX Designer Internships 2027

Schedule: Full-time, onsite, Monday through Friday

As a UI/UX Design Intern you will join our design team and help create intuitive, visually engaging digital experiences. You'll have the opportunity to conduct user research, participate in usability testing, and translate insights into design solutions that enhance user satisfaction. This 9-week onsite program offers hands‑on experience.

As a UI/UX Design Intern, you will:

• Contribute to the design of user experiences across our client-facing mobile, desktop, and web trading applications.
• Create wireframes, workflows, and high-fidelity mockups.
• Assist with design audits, user research, and the creation of digital assets.
• Collaborate with designers, developers, and stakeholders to refine and implement feedback.
