Job summary

ALTA IT Services, LLC is seeking a UI/UX Web Designer to support the FBI’s Training Division on web applications, with hybrid work in Quantico, VA. The role requires the ability to design intuitive interfaces and ensure accessibility and Section 508 conformance.

You will partner with project managers, business analysts, and developers to apply consistent design across applications, advocate for users, and deliver accessible, user-centered web solutions.

Qualifications

• Five years demonstrated experience designing and developing web applications.
• Must be able to obtain Top Secret clearance to start.
• Experience applying accessibility requirements and Section 508 standards.

Responsibilities

• Work with the project manager, business analysts, and developers to create an intuitive and fluid design and ensure design is consistently applied across the application.
• Advocate for the user; limit user frustration and ensure accessibility requirements are met; ensure developed products meet Accessibility and Section 508 standards.

This position is for a user interface and experience designer to support the FBI’s Training Division by applying information technology solutions to their business processes.

This designer would be responsible for supporting the development and design of user interfaces for custom built web applications.

Job Responsibilities:
Responsibilities involve working with the project manager, business analysts, and developers to create an intuitive and fluid design and ensuring that design is consistently applied across the application. This person would be an advocate for the user; working to limit user frustration and ensure accessibility requirements are met. This position is responsible for ensuring developed products meet Accessibility and Section 508 standards. This position is in a team environment and involves collaboration with and supporting multiple teams.

Job Experience:
5 years demonstrated experience designing and developing web applications.
