Job summary

NetSage seeks a Principal Software Developer with a strong UX/UI background to lead the development and sustainment of a mission-essential Learning Management System. • Extensive experience building modern web apps and user interfaces.
• Proficient in Python, shell scripting, Go, HTML/CSS, JavaScript/TypeScript, AJAX, JSON/XML, jQuery, React/Redux, and SQL/NoSQL databases.
• Experience with containerized development and deployment (Docker or similar).
• Knowledge of Kubernetes for deployment, scaling, and troubleshooting.
• Experience with VMware vCenter and virtualization.
• Experience with Section 508 accessibility in UX/UI design.
• Experience leading development teams using Agile methodologies.

Job Description

We are seeking a Principal Software Developer with a strong UX/UI background to support the development and sustainment of a mission-essential Learning Management System (LMS). In this role, you will provide technical leadership across the full software development lifecycle. You will guide the development team through planning and execution, establish sprint and release priorities, and ensure new capabilities are designed, implemented, tested, and delivered on schedule. The ideal candidate for this position will have experience leading development teams and have a strong background in web application development with familiarity working within an LMS environment. Required Qualifications

• TS/SCI security clearance.
• A Bachelor of Science (B.S.) degree in Computer Science or a related field and ten (10) years of relevant experience. Also acceptable is a Master of Science (M.S.) degree and five (5) years or no degree and thirteen (13) years of relevant experience.
• Strong experience developing modern web applications and user interfaces.
• Proficiency with a range of programming languages, frameworks, and web technologies to include:
