Job summary

NetSage seeks a Principal Software Developer with a strong UX/UI background to lead the development and sustainment of a mission-essential Learning Management System. You will guide a development team through all phases of the SDLC, set sprint priorities, and ensure timely delivery of capabilities.

Qualifications

• Requires TS/SCI security clearance.
• BS in Computer Science or related field with 10+ years of relevant experience; MS with 5+ years; or no degree with 13+ years.
• Extensive experience building modern web apps and user interfaces.
• Proficient in Python, shell scripting, Go, HTML/CSS, JavaScript/TypeScript, AJAX, JSON/XML, jQuery, React/Redux, and SQL/NoSQL databases.
• Experience with containerized development and deployment (Docker or similar).
• Knowledge of Kubernetes for deployment, scaling, and troubleshooting.
• Experience with VMware vCenter and virtualization.
• Experience with Section 508 accessibility in UX/UI design.
• Experience leading development teams using Agile methodologies.

Responsibilities

• Provide technical leadership across the full software development lifecycle.
• Guide planning, sprint and release priorities for the team.
• Ensure new capabilities are designed, implemented, tested, and delivered on schedule.
