Job summary

Nightwing seeks a software developer to provide UI/UX capabilities for software development. You will translate user needs into intuitive, visually compelling, and highly-functional digital experiences while ensuring each application maintains its unique identity within the organization.

Your role involves creating user friendly designs, conducting user research and usability testing, and iterating on designs with stakeholder feedback.

Qualifications

• Ability to audit and validate how data is presented in the UI to ensure accuracy and compliance.
• Ability to identify, develop, and implement UX improvements that streamline reporting and analytic workflows.
• Strong problem solving skills, translating complex data into simple interfaces.
• TS/SCI with Polygraph Required day 1.

Responsibilities

• Create user friendly designs that enhance usability and optimize user experiences; identify design challenges and propose solutions.
• Develop innovative approaches to complex design problems; present ideas through mockups, presentations and design specs.
• Conduct user research, interviews, and usability testing to understand user behavior and pain points.
• Iterate on designs based on stakeholder feedback and evolving requirements.
• Create user flows, journey maps, wireframes, and prototypes to communicate concepts clearly.
• Apply UX best practices to ensure accessibility and ease of use.
• Develop high fidelity mockups and interactive prototypes using tools like Figma, Sketch, or ADOBE XD.
• Maintain and evolve design specifications, component libraries and style guides.

What You Will Get to Do

Salary & Benefits

• The salary associated with this position ($122,000-$253,000) is commensurate with the selected candidate's qualifications, years of relevant experience, and demonstrated level of expertise. Compensation will be determined based on these factors to ensure alignment with skills, responsibilities, and market standards.
