Job Summary
There will be 15 minuteTeams interviews for intro purposes, but the full interviews will be onsite.
The selected Consultant will be directly responsible for designing a modernintuitive UI/UX, and will have direct experience interacting with businessusers to create the UI/UX.
They will work closelywith the designated Business Users, I.T. supervisor, project managers, and development staff within an agile development environment maintaining a user‑centered design approach as you tackle complex design problems and influence product strategy.
Proactively identifyingareas of the product that need improvement and driving those improvements into a product roadmap.
The Consultant, in working with ODPS staff, will be responsible for researching, designing, and developing user interface using Prototyping Designer tools. The new applications will implement an N-tier architecture and comply with ODPS coding standards.
During the interview process with the ODPS staff, the resource consultant must demonstrate competence/experience in their specific area(s) of project assignment. The resource consultant must also present or share their portfolio with samples. The resource’s experience must also be documented for review and verification. Offered resources not showing technical or functional competence/experience will be a sufficient reason to reject the Offeror’s proposal. Resource will have a background check conducted by ODPS.
- 1. Participate inmeetings with stakeholders, business users, and engineering teams to understandand project UI requirements.
- 2. Design wireframes and interactive prototypes and user-friendly designs that support complex businessprocesses.
- 3. Work on various stages of the product development process from discovery to research to design user interface.
- 4. Test and iterate various product concepts with users; conduct user research and analysis to validate the design.
- 5. Work with project managers, developers, and business analysts to brainstorm ideas, approaches, and design solutions.
- 6. Experience increating ‘Design System’ Library for reusability.
- 7. Create a seamless UIhandoff process to development team.
- 8. Ensure that user interface and experience designs follow best practices and comply with securityrequirements.
- 9. Integration withBackend: Work closely with backend developers to integrate front-endcomponents.
- 10. Participate in backlog grooming sessions and other agile ceremonies to ensure Agiledevelopment teams have a good understanding of the proposed UI design toimplement successfully.
