Job summary

SHINE Systems is hiring a UI/UX Developer to modernize mission-critical web apps for cleared aerospace and defense users. You’ll design intuitive experiences, conduct UX research, and translate complex requirements into streamlined workflows and wireframes.

You’ll lead a Figma Design System/UI Kit and collaborate with engineering to deliver responsive apps in React/Angular, ensuring accessibility within an Agile workflow.

Qualifications

• Active TS/SCI clearance with Polygraph.
• IA: organize complex data sets into intuitive navigation models and sitemaps.
• Mastery of Figma (auto-layout, components, prototyping) and Adobe XD.
• Frontend engineering: React, Angular, or Vue.
• HTML5, CSS3, and modern JavaScript.
• Experience integrating interfaces with RESTful Services.

Responsibilities

• Lead modernization and consolidation of mission-critical web apps with user-centered design.
• Conduct UX audits and user research to identify friction points.
• Develop and maintain a robust Figma Design System/UI Kit with engineering collaboration.
• Build responsive, pixel-perfect web apps using React/Angular/Vue.
• Ensure accessibility and support an Agile development lifecycle.
