Job Title: UI / UX Engineer

Apex Systems has an immediate need for a (95% Remote / 5% Travel) UI / UX Engineer. This is a 6-month contract-to-permanent position supporting a major DoD / Government client across the East Coast. Please see below for details and application instructions.

Requirements

• Secret Security Clearance (or eligible)
• Security+CE certification
• 4+ years of experience in web UI/UX development, engineering, design, or similar
• REST API experience
• Agile methodology experience

Job Description

• Modernize existing service product line to a web-based platform
• Maintain the current front-end appearance while enabling web functionality
• Convert current screens, pages, and dropdowns into a web application
• Utilize Bootstrap framework for design
• Work with HTML, CSS, LESS, and SASS
• Apply development best practices and testing experience
