We are seeking a frontend engineer skilled in building React SPAs with secure API integrations, responsive UI design, and WCAG‑compliant accessibility. The ideal candidate excels at creating workflow‑driven UX for reconciliation and exception‑management systems, delivering performant, reliable interfaces while collaborating effectively across cross‑functional teams.
As an UI/UX developer , the work you’ll do at GDIT will be impactful to the modernization mission of Federal Financial Agencies. You will play a crucial role and conduct UI experience analysis of our client’s business processes, leverage the knowledge with your technical expertise in UI/UX design and applications functionality and provide technical leadership and guidance for the UI/UX development of mission‑critical financial applications from IBM Mainframe platforms to modern, cloud‑enabled, and server‑based architecture.

Education: Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or related field.

The likely salary range for this position is $171,507 - $232,039. This is not, however, a guarantee of compensation or salary. Rather, salary will be set based on experience, geographic location and possibly contractual requirements and could fall outside of this range.

Paid leave and paid holidays are prorated based on the employee’s date of hire.
The GDIT Paid Family Leave program provides a total of up to 160 hours of paid leave in a rolling 12 month period for eligible employees.
