As a Senior Test Engineer, the work you'll do at GDIT will be impactful to the mission of the Centers for Medicare & Medicaid Services (CMS) Center for Program Integrity (CPI) on the Unified Case Management (UCM) system. As a software automation tester, you will play a crucial role in testing interactive and dynamic user-interface solutions that enhance the investigative capabilities against fraud, waste, and abuse within CPI.
Integrate with a cross-functional, remote team to execute risk-based test coverage and meet sprint goals delivering high quality software both in a collaborative team environment and independent assignments. Use your expertise in QA test execution and test automation to validate front-end web application functionality, back-end data, and reporting/ETL data. Be an instrumental player of a SAFe scrum team throughout the life cycle of the software implementation processes. Validate the development of system solutions to satisfy customer’s business needs. Analyze, document and communicate system and business processes as it relates to testing.
Provide technical support to existing and prospective customers for UAT testing. Provide inputs for and execute against test plans. Assist with design, creation, automation, and execution of test cases and scenarios. Perform functional, non-functional, regression, system, and performance testing. Record actual results and compare to expected results. Document and perform root cause analysis of relevant defects and issues. Work independently and interact regularly with government and non-government stakeholders at multiple levels of authority. Produce the evaluated test/defects reports and take part in software walkthroughs. Become knowledgeable in the UCM application and functionality to allow you to support requirement analysis, provide accurate estimates, and develop test coverage to reduce risk and delays on the program deliverables.

Bachelor’s degree
5+ years of relevant manual and automated Software Quality Assurance experience. Experience testing systems with complex data and/or workflow structure
Remote 40 hours per week, available within the core hours of Monday-Friday 9am to 5pm EST.
Must have lived in the United States at least three (3) out of the last five (5) years.
The likely salary range for this position is $85,850 - $116,150. This is not, however, a guarantee of compensation or salary. Rather, salary will be set based on experience, geographic location and possibly contractual requirements and could fall outside of this range.
