Job summary

LCG, Inc. is seeking a UI/UX Developer to design intuitive, user-centered experiences for NIH-related web apps, dashboards, and forms. The role combines UI/UX design with front-end development using React, JavaScript, HTML, and CSS.

The successful candidate will wireframe, prototype, and implement modern interfaces, collaborate with analysts, product owners, and developers, and contribute to accessibility and usability improvements across NIH programs.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in related fields.
2-5 years of UI/UX design and front-end development experience.
Experience with React and responsive web applications.

Responsibilities

Design user-centered interfaces to improve usability and satisfaction.
Develop wireframes, prototypes, mockups, and high-fidelity designs.
Conduct usability reviews and recommend improvements.
Support modernization of applications, forms, and dashboards.
Collaborate with stakeholders to define user journeys and accessibility standards.
Develop front-end interfaces with React, JavaScript/TypeScript, HTML, and CSS.
Build reusable components and design systems for scalable apps.
Integrate UI with backend services via RESTful APIs.
Work in Agile ceremonies and rapid prototyping.
