Responsibilities

• Design and develop responsive, interactive web and mobile interfaces using modern front-end technologies such as Vue.js, Angular, React, and jQuery.
• Translate UX designs, wireframes, and prototypes into clean, maintainable HTML, JavaScript, and CSS, ensuring cross-browser compatibility and adherence to industry standards.
• Build and support reusable components, page templates, design patterns, and code libraries within a customer-facing design system.
• Partner with business analysts, developers, architects, and other stakeholders to define requirements, validate prototypes, and deliver effective UI/UX solutions through the SDLC.
• Champion accessibility, usability, and responsive design, including WCAG and ADA/508 compliance, while researching emerging UI/UX trends, tools, and development practices.

Job Requirements

What You’ll Bring:

• High School Diploma or GED.
• 2+ years of experience in front-end web application development with hands-on programming.
• 2+ years of experience in creating conceptual and detailed design solutions based on end-user needs.
• 2+ years of experience in communicating and working with business and technology users to create holistic solutions.
• 2+ years of experience in ADA Compliance.

What Sets You Apart:

• Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science or Information Systems.
• Knowledge of using technology Storyboarding tools like Adobe Creative Suite, Sketch, and Envision.
• History of working with cross-functional teams using Agile/Scrum methodologies.
• Skills, knowledge, and experience using end-to-end human-centered design (HCD) techniques, including design, research, and usability.
• Business technical experience.
• UI/UX design or web developer certifications & training
• Previous experience in the Electric and Gas Utility Industry.
• Exposure to front-end user frameworks (Vue.js, AngularJS, ReactJS, jQuery).
• Familiarity with screen reader tools is a plus (VoiceOver, JAWS, NVDA).
• Experience working within agile ceremonies and methodologies.
• Adobe AEM.
