Shipcom in Houston is hiring a UI/UX Designer and Frontend Developer to shape the user experience of our AIoT platform. You will design intuitive interfaces and implement them using modern frontend technologies, collaborating with product managers, backend developers, and stakeholders.

You will translate complex requirements into wireframes, mockups, and high-fidelity designs, then build frontend components that are visually compelling and highly functional.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Graphic Design, CS, or related field.
• 3+ years of UI/UX design and frontend development for web/mobile apps.
• Proficiency with Adobe XD and Figma; strong design portfolio.

Responsibilities

• Design and implement user interfaces that are visually appealing and functional.
• Develop responsive web applications for desktop and mobile.
• Collaborate with backend developers to integrate UI with server logic.
• Create reusable code and libraries for future use.
• Optimize applications for speed and scalability.
• Conduct user research and usability testing to improve UX.
• Develop wireframes, prototypes, and high-fidelity mockups.
• Define innovative UI/UX solutions with product managers.
