Overview

UI/UX Designer & Developer (Senior)  — Work Location: Remote  | Employment Type: Full-Time

SMX Pay Rate (High): $76.62/hr  |  SMX Pay Rate (Low – 5% Reduction): $72.79/hr

Position Summary

The UI/UX Designer & Developer shall design and implement intuitive, accessible, and consistent user interfaces for enterprise Government systems.

Technical & Functional Responsibilities

• Owns: User research, IA, wireframes, prototypes, interaction patterns
• Accessibility (WCAG 2.x AA) and usability compliance
• Design system/pattern library and dev-ready specs

Supports

• Partners with Developers for pixel/behavior fidelity
• Provides UX acceptance criteria; QA validates accessibility/usability against criteria

Technology Required

• Sketch, InVision, Adobe XD; HTML5/CSS3/JavaScript
• Works within Angular/.NET front-end integration and CI/CD workflow

Required Qualifications

• Minimum 8 years of UI/UX experience
• Experience designing enterprise or mission-critical systems
• Strong understanding of accessibility standards
