Job summary

Valiant Technologies LLC is seeking a Senior UI/UX Designer who will document how the application functions and ensure this understanding carries through to final designs. The role requires translating workflows into wireframes and polished interfaces that support admin and end-user experiences.

You will work through low-fidelity concepts to stakeholder-approved high-fidelity designs, focusing on complex, workflow-driven enterprise applications and cross-functional collaboration with developers.

Qualifications

• Must hold TS/SCI with active CI Polygraph.
• Experience documenting user workflows and translating into wireframes.
• Ability to design complete, interconnected admin and end-user workflows.

Responsibilities

• Understand and document how the application works and translate into final approved designs.

Job Description

As a Senior UI/UX Designer candidates must be able to understand and document how the application works, then carry that understanding consistently through to the final approved designs with a goal to minimize gaps that would otherwise require developers to make independent UX decisions during implementation.

Required Qualifications

• TS/SCI with active CI Polygraph
• Experience documenting user workflows and translating them into wireframes and final UI designs.
• Ability to design complete, interconnected experiences, including administrative functionality and end-user workflows.
• Comfortable working from low-fidelity concepts through high-fidelity, stakeholder-approved designs.
• Experience designing complex, workflow-driven enterprise applications.
• Proficient in Adobe XD, Illustrator, and Photoshop on NIPR.

Desired Qualifications

• Styling: Experience implementing SCSS/SASS and micro-animations for user feedback.
• Back-end Awareness: Experience with Java Web, NodeJS, or AWS environments.
• Agile/DevOps: Experience managing code via GitLab and working in an Agile/Scrum framework.
• Real-time Data: Experience using Web Sockets for live data updates.
