Job summary

ZABEL in Germany is seeking a UI/UX Designer (m/f/d) with strong experience in analytical platforms to craft data-heavy interfaces and complex workflows.

You will design map-based frontends for analytics, shape search, analysis, enrichment and reporting flows, and collaborate with Product and Engineering in fast prototyping cycles, delivering adoption-ready specs.

Freelancers who want to move into a permanent role are welcome; remote-first within Germany.

Qualifications

• Several years of UI/UX experience in complex B2B / enterprise software.
• Strong Figma and design systems skills.
• Strong understanding of usability, accessibility, and performance.
• Confidence translating ambiguity into clear UX solutions.

Responsibilities

• Design map-based frontends for complex analysis and intelligence workflows.
• Create UX/UI for large-scale data in geographic contexts.
• Shape flows for search, analysis, enrichment, and reporting.
• Build scalable interaction patterns for heavy interfaces.
• Work closely with Product and Engineering in fast prototyping cycles.
• Deliver clear, adoption-ready handoffs including specs and edge cases.
