Job summary

NCCER seeks a UI/UX Designer to improve navigation across its digital products, including web applications, customer-facing websites and mobile experiences. You will translate user needs and business requirements into clear, accessible designs, collaborating with product stakeholders and software engineers from discovery through implementation.

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree or equivalent practical experience in design or related field.
3+ years of UI/UX or digital product design experience.
Portfolio showing shipped digital products and design iterations.

Responsibilities

Collaborate with stakeholders to identify workflow problems and define outcomes.
Create wireframes and polished interfaces in Figma for web and mobile.
Conduct user interviews, usability tests and A/B testing.
Map user journeys and information architecture for complex processes.
Ensure accessibility per WCAG and VPAT/ACR documentation.
Document requirements in Jira and support Agile planning.
