Job summary

AM Digital Designs is seeking a structurally minded UI/UX Designer who focuses on layout logic and component behavior. You will transform workflow requirements into user flows, wireframes, and responsive product components inside Figma, working from a shared component library of ~140 elements.

The role includes mapping user flows, designing interactive prototypes for stakeholder reviews, and preparing specs for dev handoff, with compensation at $28-$38 per hour or per-project.

Qualifications

• Advanced Figma fluency with auto-layout, variants and Dev Handoff.
• Portfolio with at least 2 case studies showing a full flow from wireframe to high-fidelity prototype.
• Working knowledge of HTML/CSS layout constraints (flexbox/grid) so designs translate to code.
• 2-3+ years of professional UI/UX design experience, agency or in-house.

Responsibilities

• Map user flows and sitemaps for new features within 1 week of requirements handoff.
• Design interactive prototypes in Figma for stakeholder review using auto-layout and component variants.

• Map User Flows: Build user flow diagrams and sitemaps for new product features within 1 week of requirements handoff.
• Design Interactive Prototypes: Build clickable Figma prototypes for stakeholder review, using auto-layout and existing component variants (no static-only mockups).
• Prepare Dev Handoff: Annotate specs and use Figma Dev Mode so frontend engineers can implement without follow-up clarification calls.

What You Bring to the Table:

• Advanced Figma fluency: auto-layout, variants, variables, and Dev Mode handoff.
• A portfolio with at least 2 case studies showing a full flow - from wireframe to high-fidelity prototype.
• Working knowledge of HTML/CSS layout constraints (flexbox/grid) so designs translate cleanly to code.
• 2-3+ years of professional UI/UX design experience, agency or in-house.

Compensation

$28-$38/hr, or a flat per-project rate (e.g., $600-$1,200 for a 5-8 screen product flow).
