Our Mission

Radical Forge is a Middlesbrough, UK-based developer that has provided co-development services on a range of AAA and indie titles. In 2021, the company created its first original IP, 'Brightpaw', published on PC, Nintendo Switch, Xbox One/Series S/X, Google, and iOS. The studio is currently working on the much-anticipated silly, physics-based, sandbox farming game, 'Southfield'.

Since 2017, the company has grown to over 60 talented, collaborative, and creative individuals. We believe that respecting and understanding our team fosters a welcoming culture that enhances creativity and pride in our work.

Your Mission
  • Own and define UI & UX deliverables, from concept to project completion, ensuring quality and usability, and championing the player experience.
  • Align UI/UX with game vision by collaborating with design, engineering, and other disciplines.
  • Work proactively with the producer and team to create realistic and achievable feature sets/backlogs.
  • Meet deadlines pragmatically without compromising quality.
  • Create and share documentation to support project teams across disciplines.
  • Communicate and collaborate effectively with external partners and publishers when required.
Ideal Applicant
  • Experience implementing UI/UX within Unity Engine; Unreal experience is a bonus.
  • Strong communication skills, both written and spoken, and adaptability.
  • Ability to give and receive constructive feedback.
  • Experience with version control systems like Perforce.
  • Ability to estimate tasks and communicate status via Jira.
  • Strong artistic and graphic design skills.
  • Experience with wireframing and prototyping.
  • Proven ability to work alongside other disciplines.
  • Experience working through multiple development phases, including production and live service.
  • Contribute proactively to a positive team culture and an inclusive environment.

This role can be fully remote within the UK. We require all applicants to have the right to work in the UK. The position initially is a 12-month contract with potential extension. We welcome passionate individuals from diverse backgrounds to apply, even if they don't meet every criterion.
