Job description

Founded in 2013 and headquartered in Tampa, Florida, 64labs is a front-runner in ecommerce development, specializing in bespoke progressive web applications. Alongside Salesforce Commerce Cloud, our team has deep expertise in modern front-end technologies, including Vercel and Next.js, which we leverage to deliver high-performance, scalable storefronts.

Despite our compact size, we have made a global impact with a portfolio of projects spanning the U.S. and Europe. Notably, we collaborated with Salesforce in the creation of their PWA Kit, now known as Composable Storefront, solidifying our role as their leading global front-end partner.

Our team, operating on European time, fosters a meritocratic culture with a steep yet supportive learning curve. Remarkably, we’ve seen no voluntary developer exits in the last three years, a testament to the stability and rewarding nature of our work environment.

What we use:
  • Figma for UX/UI files & interactive prototypes
  • Occasional use of Adobe Suite for Images of advanced vector file editing
  • Storybook for documenting the design system

  • Suggest design improvements by providing achievable improvements based on UX/UI best practices
  • Build high quality Figma files using the design system and represent all variations based on the requirements from the BA
  • Work directly with engineers, provide review and advice for functional documents
  • Create interactive prototypes to present the changes/improvements to the client
  • Work directly with clients to identify the CMS components and design them using the design system at all breakpoints. Include all variations to give developers appropriate direction to produce the components
  • Help improve the design process and handoff process to become ever more efficient
  • Stay up to date on all the Figma best practices and suggest improvements to our file structure and handoff procedures;
Requirements:
  • At least 4 years of solid UX, UI and interactive work
  • Robust experience working with different design systems
