Job summary

The Swift Group, LLC is seeking a UI/UX Designer in McLean, VA to design and research user interfaces for client applications. You will apply human-centered design, run user interviews, and craft intuitive digital experiences for diverse government and civilian customers.

Minimum 5 years in UX, proficiency with Sketch/InVision/Adobe, and strong wireframing skills are required, along with HTML/CSS/JS basics and an active Top Secret/SCI clearance.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in UX Design, HCI, IS, CS, or related field (or equivalent).
• 5+ years of experience with user research methodologies (interviews, surveys, usability testing).
• Proficiency in UI/UX design tools such as Sketch, InVision, and Adobe Creative Suite.
• 5 years of experience with wireframing and prototyping tools (Figma, Axure).
• Human-centered design principles and design thinking.
• Knowledge of HTML, CSS, and JavaScript fundamentals.
• US citizenship and Top Secret/SCI with Polygraph clearance required.

We are looking for a UI/UX Designer in McLean, VA.

Job Description

• Provide user interface/user experience (UI/UX) design, research, and development plans in support of the client's applications
• Leverage expertise in Ul/UX design principles, human-centered design, and user research to create intuitive and user-friendly digital experiences

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in UX Design, Human-Computer Interaction, Information Systems, Computer Science, or related field (or equivalent experience) or technical area
• Minimum of five years of experience working with user research methodologies, including user interviews, surveys, and usability testing, to inform design decisions and validate user experience
• Proficiency in UI/UX design tools, such as Sketch, In Vision, and Adobe Creative Suite, to create high-quality design solutions
• Five years of experience with wireframing and prototyping tools, such as Figma and Axure, to develop and test design concepts.
• Human-centered design principles and design thinking to create intuitive and user-friendly digital experiences
• Knowledge of HTML, CSS, and JavaScript fundamentals to effectively communicate design requirements to development teams
• US citizenship and an active Top Secret/SCI with Polygraph security clearance required

Desired Experience

• Experience with mobile and web application design, including responsive design principles and mobile-specific design considerations
• Familiarity with existing design systems and brand guidelines to ensure alignment with customer's overall visual identity
• Knowledge of emerging trends and technologies in UI/UX design, such as AR/VR and voice UI, to stay ahead of the curve and identify new opportunities
• Experience with usability testing and user feedback analysis to inform design decisions and iterate on design solutions

Pay Range: $49,996.80 - $290,004.00
