• Our Customer is one of the world's largest investment management companies. Based in Southern California, our client manages close to $2 trillion in assets and is looking for a new partner to participate in a full-scale upgrade of their technology. We are looking for talented and ambitious people to work on the first engagement in the client's offices near Los Angeles, California.
• This position is to provide design for Investment Group Technology applications.

Responsibilities

• Collaborating with product management and engineering to define and implement innovative solutions for the product direction, visuals and experience.
• Executing all visual design stages from concept to final hand-off to engineering (process flows, sketches, scenarios, wireframes, navigation models, visual design).
• Conceptualizing original ideas that bring simplicity and user friendliness to complex design roadblocks.

Mandatory Skills Description

• 7+ years of relevant experience.
• Obsessed with good user-centred design practices and are detail-oriented.
• Must have a strong UI/UX design portfolio.
• Solid experience in creating process flows, sketches, scenarios, wireframes, navigation models and visual design.
• Active user research – asking questions to understand the essence of the business needs, vs simply following the inputs
• Demonstrate the ability to be innovative and not constrained by the boundaries of the existing design system
• Ability and willingness to deal with ambiguity and learn
• Must be able to present ideas creatively and effectively.
• Must be up to date with the latest UI trends, technologies and design practices.
