Our client is a global institutional investment firm seeking a creative, experienced, and bold UI/UX lead to help design web applications, both internal and external, for the firm’s Data Intelligence Group (DIG). DIG handles all things data and is at the forefront of market, alternative, and data science. Our goal is to build competitive advantage through data, engineering, and insight, helping our investment teams monetize ideas and drive returns for our investors while partnering with a global technology organization. Some applications include internal data catalogs/marketplace, external-facing data evaluation tools, and data science/big data related interfaces.

Transparency and collaboration are the hallmarks of our firm and the data organization.
This is an exciting opportunity for someone to establish the design process across the entire Data Intelligence Group. You will be able to advise and champion a world-class design standard from the ground up.
We are seeking a candidate with a modern, evolving, and bold design sensibility. Someone who is willing to experiment frequently, leave behind the traditional standards which often characterize financial applications, and bring a consumer-oriented approach to UX and user engagement. This isn’t a role for a mad scientist; this is a role for someone who thrives in a firm looking to push the envelope.
