Job summary

Nationwide IT Services, NIS, seeks a User Interface Subject Matter Expert (SME) / UI Team Lead to steer front-end web UI design, development, integration for search-enabled applications. You will guide a cross-functional Agile team to deliver scalable, secure, maintainable interfaces using ASP.NET C# MVC and ASP.NET Core.

The role requires deep experience in enterprise search (Elasticsearch/AWS OpenSearch), decoupled architectures, and cloud-ready OpenSearch clusters.

Qualifications

• 10+ years of software/web development experience.
• 5+ years with Agile development methodologies.
• 5+ years of ASP.NET C# MVC-based web development using Visual Studio 2019+.
• 5+ years of Application Search or Enterprise Search technologies.
• Experience with Elasticsearch; AWS OpenSearch is a plus.
• Configuration management of a cloud-based high-availability OpenSearch cluster with 10+ nodes.
• 5+ years of decoupled application development leveraging message queuing.
• 2+ years of React.js or AngularJS.
• 1+ year of ASP.NET Core with Visual Studio 2019+.

Responsibilities

• Lead the UI team and provide technical leadership for UI design, development, integration, and support activities.
• Lead the development and maintenance of web applications using ASP.NET C# MVC and ASP.NET Core.
• Design, build, and support responsive, scalable interfaces with modern web frameworks.
• Provide expertise in decoupled development leveraging message queuing for scalable architectures.
• Support enterprise search capabilities, including tuning and integration.
• Guide ElasticSearch/AWS OpenSearch configurations for high availability.
• Collaborate with developers, architects, infra, and stakeholders for end-to-end delivery.
• Participate in Agile sprint planning, design reviews, code reviews, testing, and releases.
