Would you like to utilize your user interface engineering skills to help policy makers, corporate leaders, and operators make sense of increasingly complex information spaces? Two Six Technologies provides Information Advantage to Government, Military, and Fortune 50 customers tasked with mission critical decision making.
Our products collect and synthesize huge quantities of publicly available data in multiple languages, then serve that data to be easily used by our teams of expert analysts as well as our customers. As a UI engineer you will work with product engineering teams to design and implement solutions that present this data in new and novel ways that will help to turn it into valuable insights.
As a top candidate you have experience building web based solutions using JavaScript, React, Python, and Postgres. You have experience working with cloud systems, Linux, and containerized applications. You also have been a member of remote engineering teams working in Agile software development environments.

- Developing innovative, engaging, and effective UI/UX features that help our users
- Operating in a collaborative, agile environment, with a focus on taking action and working closely with peers to enable team success
- Creating proofs-of-concept and prototypes to quickly test ideas, as well as designing and building scalable, production-ready solutions
- Considering security best practices at every phase of software development
- Continuously learning and improving
- Working within Scrum and Agile methodologies and being an active part of our continuous improvement efforts
- Solving problems and questioning assumptions
- Reviewing code and performing manual and automated testing
- Experience with the design, development, testing, and support of scalable JavaScript applications deployed to production
- Experience building UI solutions using JavaScript and TypeScript
- Experience with React, Angular, Next.js, or similar libraries/frameworks
- Experience working independently and as part of an agile team
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent experience

The projected salary range listed for this position is annualized. This is a general guideline and not a guarantee of salary. Salary is one component of our total compensation package and the specific salary offered is determined by various factors, including, but not limited to education, experience, knowledge, skills, geographic location, as well as contract specific affordability and organizational requirements.
$97,920—$146,880 USD
