Salary: The previously determined range for this position was $34.36/hr to $76.13/hr. Final rate offered will be determined by the collective bargaining agreement, internal salary equity, candidate experience and qualifications, and budget constraints. This position requires Illinois residency within 180 days of the hire date (RNs only).

The Staff Nurse I provides direct patient care, aiming to improve patient outcomes by integrating Shared Leadership, Evidence-Based Practice, Relationship-Based Care, and standards of nursing excellence into clinical practice. This role involves applying professional practice models, current standards, and clinical experience to deliver quality patient care as per established nursing standards and accreditation bodies. The nurse advocates for patients and families, develops educational plans, responds to changing needs, and collaborates with the healthcare team to ensure effective care. The role also includes participating in organizational and departmental leadership, supporting department goals, and engaging in professional development.
