Job summary

Citadel Securities is seeking a UI Engineer in New York to join the Global Trading Applications team. You will design and deliver complex, high-performance interfaces for trading and control platforms, collaborating with traders, control, surveillance, and backend engineers.

Expect to work with real-time data systems and distributed back-end services, translating workflows into intuitive experiences while optimizing performance and usability for critical financial workflows.

Qualifications

Proven experience building large-scale, production-grade front-end apps.
Strong TypeScript/React expertise with a focus on performance and reliability.
Experience integrating with real-time backend services and data feeds.

Responsibilities

Design and build complex, workflow-driven UI using TypeScript and React.
Develop scalable front-end architecture for trading/control systems.
Collaborate with backend teams (C++, Python, real-time data) to deliver UI features.
Translate trading workflows into intuitive, high-performance UX.
Drive performance, maintainability, and architectural consistency.
