Job Description
  • Translate high-level requirements into interaction flows and artifacts, and transform them into intuitive and functional user interfaces.
  • Collaborate with product management and engineering to define and implement innovative solutions for product direction, visuals, and experience.
  • Execute all visual design stages from concept to final hand‑off to engineering.
  • Conceptualize original ideas that bring simplicity and user‑friendliness to complex design roadblocks.
  • Create wireframes, storyboards, user flows, process flows, and site maps to effectively communicate interaction and design ideas.
  • Present and defend designs and key milestone deliverables to peers and executive‑level stakeholders.
  • Conduct user research and evaluate user feedback.
  • Establish and promote design guidelines, best practices, and standards.
  • Apply proper headings to document structures for screen reader navigation.
  • Add alternative text for all images, charts, and other non‑text elements.
  • Ensure tables are tagged correctly for screen readers and add proper descriptions and tab order to form fields.
  • Use accessible fonts and colors to ensure high color contrast between text and background.
  • Add metadata, set the document title, and author in document properties.
What You'll Need Required
  • Bachelor's/master’s degree in Human–Computer Interaction, Interaction Design, or related field.
  • At least three years of software development experience.
  • Proficiency in Adobe PDF Pro (3 years).
  • Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite (3 years).
  • Intermediate level of HTML coding (2 years).
  • Knowledge of JavaScript/CSS (2 years).
Physical Demands
  • Ability to safely and successfully perform the essential job functions consistent with the ADA and other federal, state, and local standards.
  • Sedentary work that involves sitting or remaining stationary most of the time with occasional need to move around the office to attend meetings, etc.
  • Ability to conduct repetitive tasks on a computer, utilizing a mouse, keyboard, and monitor.
