Job summary

Akaasa Technologies is seeking a Level 3 UI Developer for our Albany, NY hybrid role. You will lead and contribute to complex frontend projects with SPA architectures using modern frameworks (Angular, React, Vue).

Strong emphasis on accessibility (WCAG 2.1 AA/Section 508) and a robust frontend stack (TypeScript, HTML5, CSS3, SASS/LESS) with state management libraries like Redux, NgRx, or Vuex. You will translate UI/UX mockups from Figma or Adobe XD into clean, maintainable code and write

• Level III: over 7 years on complex projects with 2+ years in a leadership role as a Developer.
• 5+ years building responsive SPAs with modern JS frameworks (Angular/React/Vue).
• 3+ years implementing WCAG 2.1 AA or Section 508 accessibility standards.
• 5+ years of experience with TypeScript, HTML5, CSS3, and CSS preprocessors (SASS/LESS).
• 5+ years with state management libraries (Redux/NgRx/Vuex).
• 5+ years writing frontend unit/integration tests (Jest/Cypress/Jasmine).
• 3+ years with UI/UX design tools (Figma/Adobe XD) and translating mockups into code.

Mandatory Qualification

• Five (5) years of experience building responsive single-page applications (SPAs) using modern JavaScript frameworks (Angular, React, or Vue.js).
• Three (3) years of experience implementing web accessibility standards (WCAG 2.1 AA or Section 508 compliance).
• 5 years of experience in TypeScript, HTML5, CSS3, and CSS preprocessors (SASS/LESS).
• 5 years of experience with state management libraries (e.g., Redux, NgRx, or Vuex).
