Job summary

Flying Bisons invites you to join as a strategic design and UI expert in a fully remote cooperation. You will shape visual direction for diverse digital products, drive design processes from concept to delivery, and collaborate with cross-functional teams across disciplines to ensure brand consistency and scalable design systems.

Your portfolio and English/Polish proficiency will be used to lead workshops, present concepts, and mentor junior designers while aligning stakeholders and business

Qualifications

• Extraordinary skills in terms of layouts, grids, UI patterns, color theory, typography
• 3+ years of documented commercial experience
• Extensive portfolio of commercial projects
• Good command of written and spoken English and Polish (B2+/C1)
• Great communication and presentation skills
• Proactive attitude, you solve problems and figure things out
• Good understanding of business and technology

Responsibilities

• Define visual direction and style for digital products, including typography, colour, UI patterns and design systems
• Lead and direct design processes for a wide range of products
• Develop brand identity and guidelines ensuring consistency across touchpoints
• Lead UI projects from concept to delivery
• Collaborate with clients, facilitate workshops and present concepts
• Improve workflows and maintain visual standards within an interdisciplinary team
• Create marketing and communication materials
• Mentor junior UI designers and provide training

Scope of services

Defining the visual direction and style for digital products, including typography, colour, UI patterns, and design systems

Leading and directing design process for a wide range of products

Developing brand identity and guidelines while ensuring consistency across all product and brand touchpoints.

Leading UI projects and directing the design process from concept to delivery

Collaborating directly with clients, facilitating workshops, and presenting design concepts and solutions (with PM support)

Improving workflows, establishing internal design processes, and maintaining visual standards

Collaboration with other designers, as well as with the interdisciplinary team (researchers, strategists, content writers, developers)

Creating marketing and communication materials

Logo design or refinement, if required (nice to have)

Mentor junior and mid UI designers, providing training and support

What we are looking for

Extraordinary skills in terms of layouts, grids, UI patterns, color theory, typography

3+ years of documented commercial experience

Extensive portfolio of commercial projects

Good command of written and spoken English and Polish (B2+/C1)

Great communication and presentation skills

Proactive attitude, you solve problems and figure things out

Good understanding of business and technology

Nice to have

Skills in illustration, motion design, 3D or animation

Experience in brand identity design

Social media presence (Dribbble or Behance)
