Job summary

QTEC Aerospace in Colorado Springs, CO seeks an UI Automated Test Engineer to join a multi-contractor team supporting Missile Defense programs. You will develop UI tests, contribute to an automated testing framework, and collaborate with cross-functional teams.

Required: BS degree with 1 year of related experience (or 6 years if no degree), knowledge of automated testing and Python test scripts, and experience with Git/Gitlab. DoD SECRET clearance is required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or higher in a related discipline; 1 year of related experience or equivalent training.
• Understanding of automated testing principles and ability to develop test scripts in Python.
• Familiarity with Git/Gitlab, and common tools like Confluence and JIRA.
• Knowledge of software development basics and Python development; willingness to take on unanticipated tasks.

Responsibilities

• Software development in Java, C++, and Python for the User Interface (UI).
• Under minimal direction, assist in designing and implementing an automated testing framework for the UI products.
