Job summary

Infosys Limited is seeking an Architecture Consultant 2 to lead design and delivery of scalable, secure architectures for complex systems. You will engage with customers to capture requirements, shape architecture choices, and guide deployment strategies across mainframe and distributed environments.

The role emphasizes risk assessment, tooling for automated transitions, and proactive collaboration with development teams to ensure smooth handoffs and quality adherence.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or foreign equivalent required in a related field.
• Experience with mainframe modernization and modernization of workloads to distributed platforms.
• Hands-on experience with z/OS internals; strong knowledge of HLASM/PL/I, JCL and C/C++.

Responsibilities

• Participate in customer discussions to gather system requirements for performance, security, and scalability.
• Propose solution architecture and contribute to framework development; support enterprise architecture definition.
• Identify technologies and perform market comparisons to propose optimal architectural solutions.
• Develop integration strategies based on PoC validation of architectural solutions.
• Support knowledge transfer and ensure adherence to quality standards; contribute to build/deploy automation.
• Collaborate with development teams to resolve complex technical issues during build, deploy, and support phases.
• Analyze system performance of architectural implementations and identify potential risks.
