Job summary

Infosys is seeking an Architecture Consultant 2 to lead architectural design and delivery for large-scale data platforms in the financial services sector. The role focuses on designing scalable, secure architectures, selecting optimal technologies, and shaping integration strategies with enterprise-wide impact.

You will engage with clients to gather requirements, define architectures, and guide implementation while transferring knowledge to teams and ensuring quality across builds, deployments

Qualifications

• Experience in AWS Data Platform Architecture – Redesign and modernization of reporting/data warehouse platforms on AWS.
• Experience in AWS Glue & ETL Engineering – Designing scalable ETL/ELT pipelines using AWS Glue, PySpark, and Python.
• Experience in Data Warehouse Design – Dimensional modeling, star/snowflake schemas, reporting database optimization, and performance tuning.
• Experience in Amazon Redshift & S3 – Expertise in cloud-native analytics and data lake architectures.
• Experience in Semantic Layer Design – Building business-friendly semantic models for reporting and self-service analytics.
• Experience level : 12-15 year’s of experience (STA / Tech Architect)

Responsibilities

• Participate in customer discussions to gather and analyze system requirements for performance, security and scalability.
• Provide suggestions on solution architecture, contribute to tech framework development, support enterprise architecture definition, and drive design creation
• Identify suitable technologies and tools available in the market, and perform a comparative analysis in line with client's business requirement, thereby identifying optimal architectural solution options
• Participate in developing integration strategies based on validation of proof of concept of proposed architectural solutions
• Facilitate a smooth transition by ensuring knowledge transfer and adherence to quality standards, while contributing to the build and deployment automation strategy
• Collaborate with development teams to resolve complex technical issues using solution deployment and roll out methods, during build, deployment and support phases
• Analyze system performance basis architectural solutions implemented and support in identifying potential risks in the system landscape
• Create artifacts of architectural frameworks and technical solutions, thereby enriching team's knowledge repository
