Job summary

Quantum Technologies LLC is seeking an UI Architect to lead the modernization of FIOS Suite with a focus on micro frontends, shared UI libraries, and scalable architecture. The role covers migration, security, performance, and governance to deliver a unified user experience across modules.

The candidate will define architecture, drive migration plans, and ensure backward compatibility while enabling independent frontend teams to ship rapidly and reliably.

Qualifications

• Proven track record delivering micro frontend architectures for complex apps.
• Experience migrating large-scale legacy UIs to modular frontends.
• Ability to orchestrate shared UI libraries across multiple teams.
• Strong knowledge of REST, GraphQL, and backend-for-frontend (BFF) patterns.
• Security, accessibility, and compliance considerations in UI platforms.
• Plan for authentication, authorization, and session management across modules.
• Define contracts for inter‑micro‑frontend communication and eventing.

Responsibilities

• Define the overall micro frontend architecture including routing, shell, and communication.
• Design migration strategies for legacy screens to micro frontends in a phased approach.
• Establish standards for UI consistency, theming, and branding across all micro frontends.
• Architect build, CI/CD pipelines, and deployment strategies for independent frontend teams.
• Plan for performance, code-splitting, lazy loading, CDNs, and monitoring.

UI Architect Requirements for FIOS Suite Modernization

1. Technical Expertise

Strong understanding of micro frontend patterns (Module Federation, Web Components, etc.)

Experience with legacy UI migration and integration strategies

Familiarity with shared UI libraries

Knowledge of RESTful APIs, GraphQL, and backend-for-frontend (BFF) patterns

* Should have expertise in material up

Define the overall micro frontend architecture (routing, shell/container, communication)

Design a strategy for incremental migration of legacy screens to micro frontends

Establish standards for UI consistency, theming, and branding across micro frontends

Plan for shared authentication, authorization, and session management

Enable seamless integration of new micro frontends with existing legacy modules during transition

Define contracts for inter‑micro‑frontend communication (events, shared state, APIs)

Ensure backward compatibility and minimal disruption to business users

4.DevOps & CI/CD

Architect build and deployment pipelines for independent micro frontend teams

Enable independent development, testing, and deployment of micro frontends

Plan for versioning, rollback, and hot‑reload capabilities

5. Performance & Scalability

Optimize for fast load times (code splitting, lazy loading, CDN usage)

Ensure scalability for large user bases and high concurrency

Plan for monitoring, logging, and error tracking in distributed UI

6. Security & Compliance

Ensure secure communication between micro frontends and backend services

Comply with accessibility and regulatory standards

7. User Experience

Drive a unified, intuitive, and responsive user experience across all modules

Enable user personalization and role‑based UI rendering

8.Documentation & Governance

Document architecture, design patterns, and migration guidelines

Define coding standards, review processes, and UI governance

Mentor and guide UI /UX and frontend teams

9.Stakeholder Communication

Collaborate with business, product owners, and backend architects

Present modernization roadmap, risks, and progress to leadership
