Job summary

Sapient Capital, an independent advisory firm, is seeking an Advisory Associate to support lead and secondary advisors in delivering comprehensive financial services to UHNW clients and institutions. The role focuses on client relationship management, portfolio management, financial planning, and operational support.

This in-person NYC-based position requires 3+ years of industry experience and active CFP pursuit, with collaboration across investments, family office, and operations to ensure

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or higher from an accredited university; majors in Finance, Accounting, Economics, Business Administration, or related fields preferred.
• 3+ years of direct industry experience.
• Active pursuit of the CFP designation and/or Series 65 strongly preferred.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with clients and internal stakeholders
• Ability to multi-task and manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
• Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex financial data
• Knowledge of investment products, financial markets, and portfolio management principles, with the ability to explain concepts internally and to clients
• Advanced in Microsoft Office Suite, including Word, Excel, PowerPoint and SharePoint

Responsibilities

• Prepare sophisticated presentations and reporting for clients using financial software, PowerPoint and Excel.
• Create meeting schedules and deliverables in advance for timely review.
• Maintain accurate asset and entity information in core systems for reporting.
• Assist advisors with Addepar views to track key attributes.
• Collaborate with internal teams to resolve data-feed issues.
• Support advisors in client communications to maintain service standards.
