Job summary

City National Bank is seeking a Private Banker to develop and manage relationships with high-net-worth individuals and families in the San Francisco market. You will provide integrated banking, credit, asset management, trust and brokerage advice, coordinating with client teams to deliver tailored solutions.

The role requires a strong sales orientation, deep knowledge of wealth management products, and compliance with Safe Act licensing.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent required.
• Minimum 8 years in asset management, banking/credit, personal trust, or brokerage services.
• Minimum 8 years of sales and relationship management in financial services.
• Must meet Safe Act licensing and registration requirements.

Responsibilities

• Develop new relationships via referrals and internal partners.
• Profile client needs and provide tailored advice across investments, credit, and wealth services.
• Lead client teams and coordinate pre-brief/de-brief meetings.
• Identify opportunities to grow the client portfolio and maintain relationship profitability.
• Communicate market conditions and adjust investment strategies with the client team.
• Ensure IPS aligns with client goals and risk tolerance.
