Job summary

Tier4 Group in Phoenix, AZ is seeking a Tax Advisor to join a growing family office and wealth management team. The role focuses on high-net-worth and ultra-high-net-worth tax planning and integrated wealth services, with a hybrid onsite work arrangement.

The position targets candidates with 2–5 years of tax experience, CPA progression, and comfort working directly with clients and professionals to deliver proactive tax strategies.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting required.
• Approximately 2-5 years of tax experience, preferably within public accounting.
• Experience preparing individual and pass-through entity returns.
• Exposure to high-net-worth or complex individual clients.
• Strong understanding of individual, partnership, S-Corporation, and trust taxation.
• CPA designation or actively working toward becoming a CPA.
• Comfortable interacting directly with clients and professional advisors.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and review tax returns for individuals, partnerships, S-Corps, and trusts.
• Support tax planning for high-net-worth and ultra-high-net-worth individuals and families.
• Identify tax planning opportunities and strategies with senior tax professionals.
• Assist with tax projections, financial modeling, and scenario analysis.
• Research complex federal and state tax matters and document conclusions.
• Communicate with clients regarding tax matters, deadlines, and planning opportunities.
• Coordinate with outside CPAs, attorneys, investment professionals, and other advisors.
• Support integrated planning across tax, investments, estate planning, and other areas.
